Refund Policy
1. CLIENT ADVICED : Client is advised that they are 100% guaranteed to receive a Federal Student Loan Consolidation through the Department ofEducation OR receive a 100% refund of their Consolidation Loan Processing Fee payment made to SLHC if the Consolidation loan is rejected by the DOE. No refunds will be given after SLHC has provided DOE paperwork by mail or electronic delivery or if client fails to continue the SLHC Consolidation Loan process after signing this document. If the client contacts the DOE or servicer and tampers with work of SLHC then the client is not eligible for refund.
2. CHARGEBACK POLICY : Client can Chargeback their fee, If a Client is not satisfied with the service company provided, and the Company will reimburse the Fee Paid to the Company. All Refunds/Chargeback requests must be made by telephone or email to the Company within 30 days. The Chargeback return payment will be done in 10 - 14 business working days from the day of the request.
3. INCOME DISCREPANCY: Client hereby agrees that any income discrepancy could potentially cause a change in payment or term towards the program in which client is enrolling in. If such Discrepancy arises, client must adhere to the new payment or term, or otherwise provide income matching information originally provided. Client Advised no refunds will be provided if client does not adhere to the new payment or term due to the any discrepancy.
4. Notice: Client will receive a 100% refund of the Loan Consolidation Processing Fee if client is rejected for a Federal Student Loan Consolidation by the Department of Education.
5. Default and Garnishment. If any of the client’s Federal Student Loans are in default and/or being garnished by any Lender, SLHC will provide client the option to pursue a release of said garnishment facilitated by SLHC, for an additional non-refundable fee. SLHC will begin processing the request for garnishment release once the initial fee is paid. The Department of Education will review the request, including documents supporting your financial hardship claim. Within 60 – 90 days the DOE will respond with the board’s decision regarding release. We cannot guarantee a positive result as it is determined by your individual circumstances. Once the garnishment release is completed we will proceed with your Federal Student Loan Consolidation
